Zend Framework finally reaches 1.0.0

The Zend Framework, probably the most ambitious and well-funded PHP framework, has announced the first production release of their library after months of development. Boasting many classes that other MVC frameworks lack - such as internationalization support and a ready-made search engine - it aims to provide "solutions to solve frequent needs of web application developers".
