The folks who brought us Web Directions, the not-to-be-missed Australian annual web conference, have joined with Dave Shea and Derek Featherstone to create Web Directions North—and it looks great. Located in Vancouver, BC, February 6-8, 2007, confirmed speakers include Cameron Moll, Doug Bowman, Veerle Pieters, Derek Featherstone, Dave Shea, Joe Clark, Molly Holzschlag, Adrian Holovaty, John Allsopp, Kelly Goto, Dan Cederholm, Andy Clarke and other web luminaries. A day of workshops precedes the two-day conference, and then speakers and attendees will enjoy two days of skiing and snowboarding at the home of the 2010 Winter Olympics, Blackcomb/Whistler. Registration opened today.
